CADinteractive’s Customer Insight Intelligence system provides a set of proposals designed to help website managers present quantifiable plans to senior management for usability project approval.
The system reviews website information to produce a top-level executive summary that pinpoints usability and accessibility problems.
The report includes site statistics that highlight usability issues; Competitor offering and gap analysis; Key business and user objectives along with other accessibility issues.
A project plan, including deliverables and top level costing is then produced to outline a series of solutions based on a user centred design approach. This includes the views and feedback from real users throughout the design process.
Chris Averill, MD of CADinteractive said: “Many proposals fail to achieve the necessary sign-off because senior management are not directly involved with the online side of the business. The benefits of good website usability and accessibility need to be made clear, with branding, customer service and ROI as key factors. Our report provides project managers with the information to show senior management what’s wrong while outlining a proposed solution.”
Shailen Joshi of BT said:“CAD’s Customer Insight Intelligence reports helped us to clearly identify the areas we could improve with the existing Web site. The reporting process and outline project plan enabled us to achieve the approval we needed to implement the changes and we are now working with CADinteractive to improve our online service.”
