Why it’s important?

Legally, every business has to ensure their products and services are accessible to those with disabilities, which is around 20% of the population. Morally businesses have no reason to exclude users because they suffer from a disability. With so much current interest in businesses catering for all, being inaccessible creates a negative image of your business.

What can you do?

Making your product accessible does not need to be complicated, confusing or expensive. Meeting the DDA, RNIB and WAI guidelines requires a unique approach every time and we tailor our service to meet our client’s requirements.

Our approach

We work with you to understand what level of accessibility is required by your business and users. We then audit your site using our own well-developed checklist, as well as utilising a number of specialised programmes:

• NILS toolbar
• JAWS screen reader
• Lynx text-only browser
• Colour blind analyser
• HTML validator
• CSS and JavaScript analysers

A final report is created that highlights accessibility failings and legislative fixes. We will also supply you with sample HTML and CSS code, to help you repair any problems.
